Stratum corneum thinning leads to improved dermal tension, hydration, stimulation of collagen and elastin fibers, discoloration reduction and skin tone restoration. The treatment renders the patient’s skin susceptible to UV radiation. In order to minimize the risk of side-effects, avoiding sun exposure and applying sunblock are strongly recommended. A series of 3-4 treatments (3-4 week breaks between treatment sessions) brings optimal results.
