The corrective formula is based on a synergy of active ingredients: a 12% glycolic acid solution, 2% salicylic acid and 2% azelaic acid. Thanks to this unique combination, it is the answer to all kinds of skin imperfections, such as wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, photoageing, acne and post-acne changes, and erythema.
Due to its small molecule, glycolic acid penetrates freely into the deeper layers of the skin, providing systematic, gentle exfoliation and influencing the synthesis of collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans.
Salicylic acid has a highly beneficial effect on skin affected by acne, excessive sebum production and comedones. It improves the appearance of post-acne scars, leaving the skin smooth and even. Azelaic acid reduces erythema and skin redness and helps diminish discolouration.
The product evens out skin texture, leaving it smoother and more uniform. It gives the skin a refreshed, well-rested appearance.
The product comes in an airless container. Unscrewing it is not recommended.
Before first use, press the dispensing mechanism vigorously a dozen or so times to create the vacuum needed for the serum to be released from the container.
If the dispensing mechanism becomes blocked or airlocked, quickly press the pump a dozen or so times, or press it firmly several times while covering the dispenser outlet.
Shake vigorously before use!
Due to its gel formula, the product may settle around the opening of the container. To minimise this effect, it is recommended to wipe excess serum off the pipette against the neck of the container when removing it.
Apply a small amount of the product to the face in the morning and evening. Introduce the lotion gradually, starting with one application per day in the morning. As the skin adjusts to the active ingredients, the product can be applied twice daily. It can be used on its own or with the Skin Care Management System as step three of the Jan Marini routine.
